Therapy for the seasons that reshape us: holding space for change, growth and motherhood
Welcome
Self & Seasons Psychology is a telehealth service based in Adelaide, South Australia, offering evidence-based psychological therapy across Australia.
Born from a deep respect for the significant life transitions —“seasons”— that we move through across our lives, Self & Seasons Psychology offers a supportive space to feel heard, understood, and gently re-empowered, from wherever you feel comfortable.
Behind Self & Seasons Psychology is Isadora Aldam: Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor. Isadora has experience across private, government, and not-for-profit settings. After starting a family of her own, she recognised (and experienced!) the changes in identity, relationships, life structure and purpose that can come with significant life transitions, and the importance of providing therapy that feels accessible, non-judgemental, warm and comfortable.

Self-referral
Simply contact us directly to book in
Sessions will cost the full fee ($220 per session), with no limit on how many you can attend (we’ll check in with you as sessions progress)
GP referral
Session fees may be subsidised with a GP referral thanks to Medicare’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
We accept referrals via a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment & Management Plan (EDP) from your GP.
With a MHTP, you may be eligible for up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year.
With an EDP, you may eligible for up to 40 subsidised sessions per calendar year.
The Medicare fixed rebate (subsidy) for Clinical Psychology is $149.05 per session. You will be required to pay the remaining ‘gap fee’ of $70.95 per session.
Please visit your GP to complete a Plan, and kindly request they fax or securely email it to us (fax number: 61871185334).
If you have private health cover, you may also be eligible for subsidised sessions. Please check your level of cover with your provider & mention this when contacting us.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer bulk-billed sessions.
A note on cancellations: We understand that sessions may need to be rescheduled or cancelled from time to time. We kindly ask for 48 hours notice to enable us to offer your session time to others who may be waiting. To secure your session upon booking, a 50% deposit will be collected. If a session is unattended or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the 50% deposit will serve as a ‘cancellation fee’. Thank you for your support and understanding.
